重なる失敗の末、マグナ・カルタに同意せざるを得なかった弱い王。ジョン王の表情は、自らの愚かさ、苦悩、弱さに抵抗しそれを払拭しようとしている。彼はきっとこんな表情をしていたはずだ。悲鳴を思わせるタイポグラフィとフォルムでそれを表現した。
石は戦争の象徴である。戦いの攻防のいずれでも使われる。
それぞれ異なる固有の書体は、戦いに参加した戦士たちの不器用さを表現している。
ねじれたタイポグラフィは、彼らの不手際を描く。
中央の赤い光線は、戦いのために血で封印された嘆願書のようだ。
